Sonic Slumlord is the solo effort from Bobby Skulls, lead singer & guitarist of The Rhones. The EP deviates from Skulls’ past with a continuum of shaman howls, loud guitars, and the urgency of hate.Skulls gets helping hands from rock and roll royalty: Wayne Kramer (MC5); Brad Booker (Gravity Kills, Apartment 26) on drums, engineering, & production; Bob Lohr (Chuck Berry) on keys; and Dave Cooley mastering the tracks.
